Otherword’s stories and case files remain available offline after they are installed. Companion conversation may use the online service when available and falls back to authored guidance when it is not.

Restore the guided introduction

Open the menu, choose Settings, and use “Restart this case.” You can also skip the introduction and unlock the Library without completing the mini case.

A case will not continue

Follow the single red notification. Read the waiting document or open the waiting companion message; the next story section will then become available.
